LEXINGTON, Ky. - A Cynthiana, Kentucky man, Randall Perry, 53, pleaded guilty on Monday, before U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell, to mail fraud.

PITTSBURGH - A resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of conspiracy to defraud the United States, United States Attorney Scott W. Brady announced today. William J. Hughes, 73, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States before United States District Judge David S. Cercone.

          LOS ANGELES – A Twentynine Palms man was sentenced today to 12 months and one day in federal prison for making harassing telephone calls to government offices and for threatening to injure congressional staffers and an intern who answered the calls.           Robert Eric Stahlnecker, 48, was sentenced by United States District Judge Stephen V. Wilson.

PROVIDENCE – The former owner of an East Providence automobile transport company who is awaiting sentencing in federal court for fraudulently obtaining more than $400,000 from various financial institutions and using the stolen personal identifying information of another person to continue to illegally operate his auto hauling business after being ordered to shut down for safety violations, was arrested and charged today with allegedly executing an elaborate scheme to defraud Amazon.

Seattle - A 41- year-old Bonney Lake, Washington, man was charged today in U.S. District Court in Seattle with theft of government property for his scheme to profit by stealing and selling respiratory support equipment from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), announced U.S. Attorney Brian T. Moran.  GENE WAMSLEY was employed as a Respiratory Therapist at VAMC until he was placed on leave from VAMC on June 9, 2020.  WAMSLEY made his initial appearance on the criminal complaint today in Seattle.
