A.1: The DoD OIG recommended that the Director of the Defense Health Agency, in coordination with the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Director, develop policies and procedures for the White House Medical Unit to manage controlled and non-controlled medications, including procurement, storage and inventory, prescribing and dispensing, and disposal.
