Rec. 1.c: The DoD OIG recommended that the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment, in coordination with U.S. Transportation Command and the Military Services, evaluate creating a centralized tracking system to track rail shipments of arms, ammunition, and explosives and implement that tracking system, if appropriate.
