Rec. 1: The DoD OIG recommended that the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs) coordinate with Department of Veterans Affairs counterparts on the Health Executive Committee to determine the source of Veterans Affairs Pacific Island Health Care System payment delays to Tripler Army Medical Center and develop a joint solution to improve the timeliness of payments.
